RFPi’s iCertainty Receives FDA 510(k) Clearance Approval for Blood Flow in Surgeries
Shots:
- iCertainty is a novel medical imaging device with real-time blood flow in depth of 4-5 mm requiring
no injections, dyes, radiation as performed by other medical devices i.e. X-ray and MRI and is being evaluated in monitoring patient’s cardiovascular parameters - The device works on MSPV (multi-spectral physiologic visualization) technology using low-energy lasers, high-speed imaging cameras and analyzing techniques with flow-calculation algorithms, further delivering real-time visualization and quantification of blood flow and perfusion
- RFPi is planning to secure series B for the commercialization of iCertainty. Scientists in RFPi are currently working on mobile device which will be helpful for evaluating wound care and diabetic outpatients
